Organised annually by the Australian Student Environment Network (ASEN) Training Camp is a space within which we can build capacity, community and alternatives towards an environmentally and socially just world. In this event description is a link to registration and payment. Subsidies are also available on a needs basis :)!

This year Training Camp is going to be held from the 15-21st of January at Minto Bush Camp on Tharawal country (so-called Minto Heights), 50mins south-west of so-called Sydney. Arrive by dinner time on the 15th!

Training Camp is a space for sharing skills and knowledge, for building community, for making the spaces we share safer than those we find elsewhere, for swimming, playing, discussing, makin' music and having fun! It's not just for students, young people or ASEN people. If you are working towards an environmentally and socially just world, this is for you!

People who attend Training Camp are encouraged to travel back to their local communities and join their local Aboriginal community's Invasion Day organising for events on January 26.

It only takes five minutes to register! There are TWO forms to fill out. You will only be able to access the second after completing this first registration form. See link below.

(see below for payment info)

Yes! We will make it available as soon as possible - likely in January. Here is a link to the 2017 and 2016 timetables to get you excited about the kinds of things we offer.

There will be sessions/workshops around Decolonising First Nations Solidarity Work, How to Build & Win Campaigns, Direct Action Skills & Critique, Radical Mental Health, Media for Actions, Space to discuss & organise SoS2018, Colonisation & Decolonisation, Gender & Feminism, Fundraising, Just Transitions, Building & Maintaining Collectives, Alternatives to Capitalism, Facilitation Skills, Fossil Free Escalation and more.

After completing the registration form [] you will be directed to a TryBooking page to buy your ticket(s). Please reference your full name so we can match you to your payment. This year the standard ticket costs $175. That's $12.50 per day for food, $15 per day for accommodation/site use and $10 for miscellanous extras.

If you can't afford that, we are able to provide a number of people with subsidies. There is an option for requesting subsidies on the registration form.

If you are only coming for part of the time the cost per day will be $32 that's $12.50 per day for food, $15 per day for sleeping and some exta $ for miscellaneous extras. To avoid a complex array of ticket options and booking fees on TryBooking, we will require this payment by bank transfer. Complete the registation and TryBooking form as normal and we will be in contact with you to provide our bank details.
