Wildlife of the Central Highlands & Friends of Leadbeater's Possum

Join us for a self-drive guided tour of our backyard!

We will be visiting the home of Victoria's faunal emblems, the Helmeted Honeyeater and Leadbeater's Possum. You can also expect to meet some of the biggest trees on the mainland of Australia and help with the revegetation of vital habitat.

The first stop on the guided tour will be at the Yellingbo Nature Conservation Reserve where there will be a chance to help the revegetation project with local conservationists.
We then drive onto Toolangi for a bush walk and tall tree discovery with a local conservationists and scientists.

Convoy of Conservation will meet at Belgrave Station carpark
Tour #1- April 21st, 9.45am
Tour #2– May 19th, 9.45am

We aim to leave by 10am.

What to bring

Own transport, full tank of petrol, good walking shoes, gumboots, hat, sunscreen and water.

We acknowledge that we will be traveling on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Taungurung people and pay full respect to them as we travel on their lands.
