Wildlife of the Central Highlands & Friends of Leadbeater's Possum

Join us for a self-drive guided tour of our backyard! And the homes of Victoria's faunal emblems, the Helmeted Honeyeater and Leadbeaters Possum! Meet some of the biggest trees on mainland Australia and also help with the revegetation of vital habitat.

Convoy of Conservation will meet at Belgrave Station carpark. Tour Meets at Belgrave Train Station at 9am and leaves 9.15am

We'll go on a guided tour of Yellingbo Nature Conservation Reserve and chance to help in revegetation project with local conservationist and then onto Toolangi for a bush walk and tall tree discovery in Toolangi with a local conservationists and scientists.

What to bring

Own transport, full tank of petrol, good walking shoes, gumboots, hat, sunscreen and water.

We acknowledge we will be traveling on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Taungurung people and pay full respect to them as we travel on their lands
