Eco Elves Night Markets

Friday, 4 December 2015 -
5:00pm to 9:00pm
Canberra Environment Centre, cnr Lennox Crossing and Lawson Crescent, Acton Peninsula

Support Canberra’s local artisans and your environment by shopping outside the box this Christmas.

The Canberra Environment Centre is excited to present a beautiful evening of local, handmade and ethical gifts, delicious food, a local wine and beer bar and soothing tunes. It’s easily the most enjoyable place to do your Christmas shopping this year.

This year grab a bite to eat and sip a local brew amidst the gums on recycled pallet furniture. Enjoy the surroundings of locally produced art and some of Canberra’s best new talent. Music will include folksy songstress Ella Hunt and indie maestro Azim Zain amongst others.

Enjoy the Eco Elves Bar this year with a fine selection of local beverages from Zierholz Brewery (Fyshwick), Gardners Ground Organic Winery (Canowindra) and Mt Majura Vineyard (Majura).

We have a beautiful selection of food on offer, from the Food Co-op and Shop, Funky Pies, My Rainbow Dreams, Andy’s Gozleme and Here’s the Coffee and Adam’s Patisserie. Come with an empty stomach and partake in some glorious gastronomic delights!

For the young ones, we’ll have a kids’ corner where they can make wrapping paper, seed balls and get their face painted.

Support local and eco-friendly businesses as the sun sets over the lake and get your loved ones something that won’t end up in landfill come Boxing Day.
