Friends of the Earth

Thursday, 27 July 2017 - 6:00pm to Thursday, 28 December 2017 - 8:00pm
Friends of the Earth (upstairs), 312 Smith St, Collingwood
Victoria

The Friends of the Earth Forest Collective meets 6pm every second Thursday upstairs at FoE to work together for the protection of Victoria's native forests.

Our precious native forests are still being heavily logged dispite the efforts of local communties across Victoria to protect them, and despite being home to threatened species like the Leadbeater's possum, Greater glider and Sooty owl.

The FoE Forest Collective brings together people and groups stretching from the Central Highlands to Far East Gippsland to work together to finally get the protection our forests and their wildlife need.

Upcoming meeting dates
Thursday 27 July
Thursday 10 August
Thursday 24 August
Thursday 7 September
Thursday 21 September
Thursday 5 October

There are heaps of different ways to get involved

Come to a Collective meeting to hear updates on logging, grassroots forest campaigns, upcoming events, sub-collective work and meet forest campaigners from across Victoria.

Join a sub-collective to take action through wildlife surveys, creative actions, city projections, consumer awareness campaigning, organising benefit gigs, tours, camps and events and lots of other stuff!

Or bring your own ideas and get the support of the forest conservation communtity.

Come and join in, for the forests! For the forest creatures! For local communities who love their forests!

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
