Kings Domain Resting Place
Victoria

We join to commemorate all Sovereign First Peoples who defended and died in the Frontier Wars, massacres across Australia, as well as those who continue to die in custody to this day.

Through their resilience, courage, bravery and sacrifice protecting families, communities and Country they will always be remembered.

We recognise that colonisation and genocide are ongoing processes that continue to this day and that Sovereignty over Country was never ceded.
This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

#WeAlwaysRemember January 26.

Find us at Kings Domain Resting Place for this second Invasion Day Dawn Service. Kings Domain is located near Linlithgow Avenue opposite Janet Lady Clarke Rotunda in Naarm (Melbourne).

Please use #WeAlwaysRemember when inviting others and posting about the event.

Please note that public transport options will be limited. Night Train, Tram and Bus services operate but are infrequent, so plan your trip beforehand (more info: https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/more/travelling-on-the-network/night-network/). Parking is available around Kings Domain and the Botanic Gardens but may be limited on the day.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
