Justice for Bowraville

Sunday, 29 September 2019 - 12:30pm
Sydney Town Hall, 483 George St, Sydney
New South Wales

The NSW Upper House has handed down 2 recommendations to the NSW Attorney Generals Office in response to our campaign.

We are protesting to demand no more delays, we have waited more than three decades. We demand justice now. Find justice for Colleen Walker & the Bowraville Victims
to date no one hasn't been charge for the Boweraville murders.

We will be marching on Town Hall at 12.30pm. We need your support. We have been fighting for our Children for nearly 3 decades. We are in this position because Aboriginal people are treated like 3rd class citizens in this county. Black Lives dont matter to State and Federal Government institutions. And so now more than ever we need all of our supporters and the broader community to stand with us in this fight for justice.

We demand the Attorney General move and have passed, the appropriate legislation so our communities can finally have our day in court. Its been nearly 30 years since our children were taken from us. The Attorney General has been afforded 6 months to respond to the recommendations - 6 months is TOO LONG - we want a response NOW - and we want justice. We have lost years of precious time while our case has been sitting on the desks of bureaucrats and representatives. We will wait no longer.
