VictoriaLAST TREE PLANTING DAY FOR 2019
Plant trees to help wild koalas. Escape from the city, enjoy nature, and help create new koala habitat with like-minded people.
In the winter months (June-August) we plant koala trees on private properties on the Western Plains. After five to six years of growth, the time it takes to go through high school, a tree is big enough to house and feed a koala.
We will be planting nearby the You Yangs and will be able to travel to the You Yangs afterwards to find some koalas.
The meeting place for the day is Little River Hotel (Pub) 10/14 Flinders St, Little River at 9:00am, we will then travel as a group to the location of the planting. Please do not be late - we will not wait past the pickup time, and as the planting location is private, we will not be able to give out directions.
Transport ticket price includes transport from Melbourne. The meeting place is The Holiday Inn on Flinders Lane. Pick up time is 8:10am. Please arrive before 8:10am - we will not be able to wait for you if you are running late.
Koala Clancy Foundation is a not for profit incorporated association. Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours founded Koala Clancy Foundation and is the largest supporter.
Cost: $30 adults, $20 children/student/concession
Add an extra $5 if you wish to take our city transport option.
