Front Line Action on Coal

Saturday, 24 August 2019 - 10:00am
RMIT city campus, building 80, level 9, room 6

The year is building enormous momentum with many events coming up that are challenging the status quo that has left the earth in crisis.

So that we can make these moments as meaningful as possible lets make sure that we have practiced our skills and tested our knowledge. Or maybe you want to pick up some new skills.

This will be a day for the whole environmental movement, a place where we can come together, share in our knowledge and learn a bit about each other at the same time.

We will cover
~This moment we are in
~Interacting with law enforcement
~Action logic and strategies for planning
~Tactics used in Australia

Lunch will be shared so bring something that you would like to offer.

This event will take place on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri of the Kulin Nation. Before we take on our work we pay respect to the elders past, present and emerging.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
