French Island 5000 Trees

Saturday, 30 May 2020 - 10:00am
French Island

Hey, guys, the time has finally arrived!

The date is set, plus an account with French Island Landcare, where we’ll purchase the trees. Feel free to sign up to volunteer for the day, as we can only manage 30 volunteers, or donate money towards trees via the Landcare account.

We want you to enjoy the day and the property as much as we do. Catch the 10am ferry from Stony Point. We’ll pick you up at the pier, provide morning tea at our place, give a demonstration of planting techniques, then it's off to the paddock.

We’ll provide lunch and afternoon tea as well. Please bring your reusable water bottle if you have one, to save on plastics.
If you want to make a proper break of it look us up on (there’s still one room available) or bring your campervan or tent. We have camp sites and camping is free for planters.

In the evening we’ll put on a show and give you dinner! We’ll drop day trippers back to the 5.50pm ferry.

It will cost at least $2500 to buy these trees and guards. If you can't plant, please donate. We need to pay the deposit for trees ASAP! Money goes direct to French Island Landcare:
BSB: 633 000
Acnt: 151 902 947
Include "5000 Trees" as reference

Thanks again for all your interest. We look forward to seeing you on the day! It will be great!!

Cheers, Alan and Mylene
