Front Line Action on Coal
Bloackade camp, 57km SW of BowenQueensland
RED ALERT: Land clearing has begun on the Adani coal mine site in Central Queensland.
An official callout for people to start making their way to the site has been announced. It is time for us to unite and harness the beauty and energy of people power and show Adani that we say NO.
Wondering how to get there, what to expect, and what direct action in Central Queensland actually looks like? Take part in an information session held by Frontline Action on Coal or get in touch here.
About the campaign
Despite catastrophic climate predictions and the urgent pleas of our Pacific Island neighbours, our corrupt leaders – in the clutches of big corporate coal – are moving against the interests and wishes of the people whom they were elected to represent. We have signed the petitions, rallied our electorates, shut down banks and marched the streets. But still this project rolls on.
The blockade camp on Birri country (57km SW of Bowen) is currently the base camp of the front lines resistance efforts. Join us!
Take a stand. Protect climate, culture, community and water. For future generations.
