About the campaign
Sail 4 Justice recognises and asserts the sovereignty and self-determination of First Nations people. We wish to pay our respects to the First Nations peoples on whose land and seas we travel and sail. We pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging and to the strength of the Indigenous communities in ongoing struggles for self-determination.

A growing number of boats will set sail in May as part of a flotilla for justice and our destination is Manus. For too long Australia has left thousands of refugees to languish in offshore detention centres. We sail in solidarity, we sail to demand justice for all asylum seekers, we sail to show to the world what Australia is doing.

The Flotilla for justice will be launched from so-called Melbourne in May and leave Australia from Gimuy/Cairns in June 2019.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
