Baromi Centre, 38 Couper St Mirboo North
Victoria

PUBLIC PRESENTATION BY ENVIRONMENTALISTS DREW LIEPA & BRAD BLAKE FROM GREENING AUSTRALIA

Preserve our Forests Mirboo North invites you to join us in an interesting and informative evening showcasing Australia’s largest gliding mammal – the Greater Glider. A healthy population of these enchanting, velvety furred marsupials exists within the Mirboo North forests.

One of the biggest threats they face is habitat destruction through logging. Drew and Brad are working to increase and connect Greater Glider habitat within the Strzelecki Ranges to aid in the conservation of these vulnerable animals.

Learn all about this threatened nocturnal species that most of us have never seen. Let Drew and Brad immerse you in the night-time world of the Mirboo North forests. Hear about our vision for the future protection of our local forests and all they contain.
