First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria

Thursday, 7 December 2023 - 6:00pm
Eltham Library, Panther Place
Wurundjeri Country
Victoria

Join us at Eltham Library for a chance to learn about Treaty, have a yarn, ask questions and help shape the next steps on the journey. We'll also have a free feed.

With statewide Treaty negotiations set to begin later this year, it's an exciting time to find out more and get involved!

This event is for mob and allies, held in partnership with Yarra Plenty Regional Library.

For any questions, reach out to James Thomson from our Engagement team. JamesT@firstpeoplesvic.org.

Treaty is an opportunity to secure better representation and political power for First Peoples. Both the state-wide Treaty and Traditional Owner Treaties can include changes to current systems and structures of government to give First Peoples a greater say and control over matters that affect First Peoples.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
