We need to talk about waste. Shrink-wrapped vegies, disposable coffee cups, clothes and electronics designed to be upgraded every year: we are surrounded by stuff that we often use once and then throw away.

Erin Rhoads is the popular eco-blogger behind the Rogue Ginger and author of Waste Not: Make a big difference by throwing away less. In a world where we’re waking up to the problems faced by single use plastics this is a timely book.

Join us for our first event in the newly refurbished  EnviroCentre as we discover how Erin started her 'waste not' journey and discover more about tackling waste at your own pace.

Eco-shout national grassroots events calendar promotes actions, protests, film screenings, public forums, campaign training, workshops, conservation, revegetation and gatherings for environmental and social justice. Check out how much it's kicking off around the country - together we are lots! Add an event and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the calendar with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing going on.
