World Heritage Day - Message in a Bottle Action

Saturday, 18 April 2015 (All day)
Airlie Beach, Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Melbourne
New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria

To celebrate World Heritage Day this Saturday the 18th April people across Australia will be sending a ‘Message in a Bottle’ to Environment Minister Greg Hunt, asking him to protect the Great Barrier Reef.

We want to highlight the love and concern Australians have for our national treasure as well as raise awareness about the Government action required to protect the Reef.

AMCS volunteers and our friends at North Queensland Conservation Council and Cairns and Far North Environment Centre are hosting events across Australia for a national day of action. See below for details on your closest event, or register to host your own activity.
