National Forest Skillshare: TasmaniaSunday, 12 January 2014 - 9:00am to Friday, 24 January 2014 - 5:00pm
Upper Florentine and round about
The first National Forest Skillshare was a great success! About 60 people came to Far East Gippsland, in Victoria for a week of learning about the forest and sharing skills for activism. Now get ready for the next instalment as Fearless Summer hits Tasmania in January 2014!
Camping: You must BYO camping gear, personal, medical or dietary requirements, wet weather and warm gear as it can be wet and cold in the forest in the middle of summer. It can be hot and dry too so remember a hat and drink bottle. Also don’t forget your torch and appropriate footwear for tramping around in the bush.
Food: We’ll have a communal kitchen. YOU MUST REGISTER if you want food… we cannot buy enough food for you if we don’t know you’re coming.
Transport: We will be organising car pooling from Hobart and also from the Cygnet Folk Festival. Please register if you would like a lift or are driving and have space in your car.
Workshops: Let us know if you have a workshop you would like to run. You can do so when you register.
