Do you have something burning inside of you? A kind of nagging desire to be a part of something bigger?

We have the answer.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation - we simply wouldn’t exist today if it wasn’t for the drive of our passionate and fearless volunteers.

From running information stalls and painting banners, to participating in field surveys, writing government submissions, and assisting with office admin, our ‘vollies’ come from all walks of life and give their time and energy to a huge variety of important projects.

Everyone has skills and talents that can help us achieve our vision for a vibrant continent that supports the long-term health of our land, water, people and wildlife - so don't be shy! Fill out our volunteer registration form today.

Volunteering with the Wilderness Society is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1.Fill out our volunteer registration form online.

2. Come along to a Wilderness Action Group (WAG) meeting (we'll be in touch to let you know when the next one is). At these monthly get togethers, we share tools for activism, give you the latest on our campaigns around the country, plan future actions and events, and have a bit of fun! Our WAG meetings are a great way for new vollies to meet the long-term crew and get to know our dedicated staff. All are welcome - so feel free to bring a friend!

3. Stay connected by 'friend-ing' us on Facebook. You'll be able to learn more about our work, while you interact with other Wilderness Society supporters.

Eco-shout promotes jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities in environmental and social justice organisations. Add a vacancy to the list and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the list with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing out there.
