Volunteer on diverse environmental campaigns

Long term volunteer role
Victoria

Ready to roll up your sleeves? Environment Victoria has an amazing community of people working to make important strides on behalf of the environment. Want to become a part of it? We couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers!

About us
Our story starts in the 60s, when a group of Victorians joined forces to keep the Little Desert from becoming an agricultural development. Wonder of wonders this cherished landscape was spared and the Little Desert National Park was established. It was a small victory for Victoria's natural environment. The funny thing about small victories is they make you feel empowered. They make you want to take on more challenges. Bigger ones. Tougher ones. And that's how Environment Victoria got started.

Now, over 40 years later, we're one of Australia's leading environment groups, independent and not for profit. We’re environmental advocates, speaking up for our environment and helping others do the same. But there’s no shortage of challenges ahead so we’d love you to join our team to safeguard our environment and the future.

So if you’ve got some time and effort to spare, we’d love to have your help. Please fill out the form on our volunteer page (link below) and we'll contact you shortly to find something that best fits your skills and interests.

Eco-shout promotes jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities in environmental and social justice organisations. Add a vacancy to the list and we'll share it through social media at peak times and do our best to shout about it. Share the list with your grumpy mates who think there's nothing out there.
