Rent: $850 Bond: $600
a bit communal, no tv

Large sized room available in our urban gem of a home!
Right in the heart of Collingwood (Johnston x Wellington) but you wouldn't know it once you step past the front door. 1800s terrace townhouse with the modern comforts that only a good reno can provide (new kitchen, awesome shower, double glazed front). Warm in winter and cool in summer. Fireplaces in every bedroom for displaying your prize possessions on the mantle. Courtyard backyard perfect for lazy afternoons and longwinded brunches. A peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the outside streets, yet only a stones throw away from Smith Street. Dreammmyyyy <3
Rent is $850 per month internet included. There is also a house kitty of $20 a month which we use to pay for common cooking and cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc.
We are a semi-communal house with 3 people in our mid-thirties and a one-eyed cat called Maggie. We work within mental health, landscape gardening and graphic design and are all pretty active with our other interests and peoples (within COVID guidelines). There is also a spare guest room for visiting friends and the occasional sublet.
Our house has a relaxed and friendly vibe, sensible during the week and silly on weekends. We like to share the occasional meal, muse on life, talk openly, laugh loudly, and harmoniously co-exist. We all like to keep a clean and tidy home, so best that this is your preference too!
The room ( the picture of the room is the medium size one, we will update this) is available from beginning of September but for the right person we would feel inclined to open the spare room as an alternative if an earlier moving date is needed. If this sounds like it could be the home for you, send us a few lines about yourself and we'll go from there!

Eco-shout sharehousing lists notices for sharehouses and people looking to live with like minded souls who are environmentally and socially aware. They may be vegan, vegetarian, organic eaters, lovers of bikes, shunners of tv, plastic and chemicals or just nice people into their veggie patch. You can post your own notice or tell your mates about the network to spread the goodness.
