Rent: 220 Bond: 0
a bit communal, extra queer friendly, has a veggie patch

Seeking a student, artist, professional, or traveller, to share a townhouse. Whether you need a short-, medium-, or long term room, you’re very welcome. :-)

I’m the only person living in the house. I rent it. I’m a full-time woman professional working in human rights.

The townhouse is a short walk from trams that go straight to the University of Melbourne & the Bundoora campuses of RMIT and La Trobe University.

The room is beautifully and comfortably furnished with split air-conditioning-heating unit, fan, a queen bed, sheets and blankets, bedside table, lamp, built-in & mirrored wardrobe, & double-blinded windows.

The room is also well-lit with a large and a small window.

The townhouse is brand new.

I’ve friendly neighbours & I’m in a very quiet and safe street. On the corner, there is a cafe, grocery store, and bus stops.

The internet, electricity, gas, and water are extra to the rent. Rent is $220/week.

This home is queer-, women- & ethnic & racial minority friendly. It is a space where ideas, conversation, laughter, films, books, composting, recycling and plants, abound.

The person suitable for moving in will be friendly, broad-minded, interested in the world, and welcoming of how sometimes there’ll be guests for dinner.

I’m also seeking someone who’s clean and tidy and who is quiet at night when people are sleeping. :-)

The bedrooms are carpeted, but there are wooden floorboards throughout the rest of the house.

There’s a split airconditioning-heating unit in every room, except the bathroom. But the bathroom has tastic heater lights for the winter-time.

The kitchen has gas cooking and a dishwasher.

There’s an internal laundry, with a clothes washing machine & dryer. The garden courtyard has a clothes line.

The bills are separate to the rent. We just pay half each. But they’re not usually much unless you have long showers or leave the heating on or the like.

If you don’t use the wifi internet, no need to put in for that bill. Nut you’re welcome to use it and go halves on the bill, too.

If you’re interested, please text me something about yourself. Thanks! :-)

Eco-shout sharehousing lists notices for sharehouses and people looking to live with like minded souls who are environmentally and socially aware. They may be vegan, vegetarian, organic eaters, lovers of bikes, shunners of tv, plastic and chemicals or just nice people into their veggie patch. You can post your own notice or tell your mates about the network to spread the goodness.
