a bit communal, vegetarian, vegan, extra queer friendly, has a veggie patch

Giant gingerbread house in Prestonia seeks left-leaning vegetarian housemate and new friend to replace our housie who’s moving away to complete her PhD.

We are Rabbit: 43, vegan, collector of vintage toys, well trained house boy with a spectacular haircut. Celeste: 37, Illustrator, musician, survives on cornflakes and audiobooks. Mediocre haircut. Devo: 13, about the size of a tissue box. One eye, no ears. Knows how to shake hands. Will lick your nose if you’re not careful. Dusty: 11, grey. Has cheeks of thunder. Loves to eat cardboard boxes, hates closed doors. Has broken light bulbs attached to his feet. Is not clever.

We have a lovely big old house with lots of space and place to be and all the housey things one could ever need. Two showers and two toilets even! There is a lockable garage with lots of storage space (Warning: we play loud drums in there a lot) The number 11 tram stops right outside. It’s close to the Preston Market. We have a big back yard with lots of veggies and fruit trees!

We’re both queer, so it’s really important that you’re fine with that. We’re looking for someone who’s queer/trans/SW positive. Obviously no TERFS or SWERFS. Also someone who is 420 friendly. We’re always looking to create a safe space and are respectful of those around us.

Really sorry to be those people, but we’re at full capacity for pets right now. You’ll really love ours though!

We’re looking for someone to move in around the 8th of Jan. We’re a bit flexible.

Eco-shout sharehousing lists notices for sharehouses and people looking to live with like minded souls who are environmentally and socially aware. They may be vegan, vegetarian, organic eaters, lovers of bikes, shunners of tv, plastic and chemicals or just nice people into their veggie patch. You can post your own notice or tell your mates about the network to spread the goodness.
