I'm Emma (she/her), 33, queer, vegan - but happy to live with respectful non-vegans.
I work part-time doing comms for an environmental organisation and I'm studying a Masters of Environment. Both are from home at the moment.
I enjoy gardening, crafting, kayaking, bush walks, and watching documentaries. I'm interested in intersectional feminism, social justice issues, health, natural remedies, and environmentally conscious living.
I have my beautiful cat friend, Sierra. She's thirteen and enjoys bird watching and sunbaking. Sadly she doesn't play well with other animals.
I've been sharing housing for the past 15 years. I'd like to live in a house that values community and creates meaningful connections over the occasional shared dinner, movie, or cup of tea.
Ideal housemates would be 28+ yrs, non smokers, vegan friendly, queer or at least queer friendly.
I like my home space to be a place to relax and rejuvenate, so I'm not looking for a party house. I'm looking for a long term home and can move in anytime that suits you. I'm also open to teaming up with other people to start a new sharehome.
I can afford max $170 per week. Bond is flexible.
I'm open to a range of locations. I've been looking around Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale, Fairfield, Alphington, New Port, Warrandyte but open to other locations. Important house features would be a backyard, heating, not on a main road, and close to some kind of parkland/green space.
I think that gives you a bit of an idea about me and what I'm looking for. If you're keen to have a chat please send me an email and we can arrange a time for a phone call or a catch up over a cup of tea.
