New South WalesRent: $250pw ($213pw until March) Bond: $1000
- Maroubra/Mahon's Baths
- $250pw (but $213 until March)
- Available December 21.
If we sound like the right place for you please send us a bit about yourself if you’re interested. We will be hosting interviews Monday 2nd December.
We’re an environmentally-minded, vegetarian house and are hoping that our new flatmate will be too.
The room is a reasonable size and can fit a queen bed, bedside tables, shelves and a clothes rail. Unfortunately there isn’t a built-in wardrobe - but there are beautiful wooden floors.
The block has 4 units, a big kitchen and ocean views and there is a large private backyard with compost. Inside there are plenty of plants, art and an extensive art/social justice book library. The living room is fully furnished but if you have extra kitchen stuff that would be rad!
ACCESS & TRANSPORT
Unfortunately although the building is on the ground floor its not very wheelchair accessible as there are steps at the main door and the door is kind of awkward. The house is a safe space for queer folks.
The buses out the front take you straight into the city (x77; 377, 376), and Coogee or Bondi Junction (353).
The rent Is $250pw, but will be $213 until March as there is a couple in one of the other rooms. Internet is $18.63 per month and bills are quarterly split evenly.
You'll be living with three lovely creative people in their late 20s/early 30s. We would ideally like someone who is communal and keen to share weekly veggie boxes and collaborate on dinner missions. We all work really hard so it's not a party house but would love to cook and socialise together when people are home.
